Before Dispensing

Before dispensing, double-check patient information, the patient profile (allergies, conditions, other drugs), the drug (correct name and spelling, beware look-alike names like Celebrex/Cerebyx/Celexa), the dosage and units, and the label (compare against the prescription, verify the NDC), then provide counseling.
