78 y F, brought in confused. Skin flushed, dry. Pupils dilated. HR 118. Urinary retention. Recently started diphenhydramine.
Paracetamol overdose
21 y F took 30 × 500 mg paracetamol tablets 6 h ago. Asymptomatic. ALT 25, INR 1.0.
Opioid overdose
Found unresponsive. RR 6, pinpoint pupils, cyanosed. Bystander reports heroin use.
Warfarin over-anticoagulation
Pt on warfarin for AF. INR 9.2, no bleeding, recently started co-amoxiclav.
